It's hard to believe that Syndey has already been with us for a week. We are all a little sleep deprived trying to adjust to our new lifestyle, but we are enjoying every minute of our time with her and feel like she is already growing up too fast!
So far, Sydney has been a great baby. She's a great sleeper and eater and never fusses. She's already settled into her own schedule and we actually find ourselves setting the alarm to wake her for nightime feedings. Hopefully that doesn't change! She had a second weigh-in last Friday and is back up to her birth weight, which is great. A newborn typically gains an ounce a day (so a pound every two weeks), but she's a pretty big eater so hopefully she'll start fitting into her newborn clothes before too long!
