30 Weeks

It's hard to believe we're already 30 weeks and 75% of the way there. We had our ultrasound appointment today and based on some of my internal measurements (we'll spare you the details), they are predicting the baby may decide to make her entry a bit earlier than expected. We go back next Friday for a follow-up ultrasound and they will decide at that time if I need to be put on a "restricted" activity level. Hopefully that just translates into a little more time on the couch watching tv rather than bed rest. So keep your fingers crossed everything looks good next Friday.

As for baby girl Saxton, she is doing great. She's around 3 lbs and in the 40th percentile for size, which is what they would expect for our frames. We were pleased to learn she has a full head of hair already, which you can kind of see in the picture. The tech had trouble getting any good frontal shots b/c the baby's hands and feet were in front of her face most of the time. Once the baby started to get a little irritated (apparently they do that at this stage when they're poked at), we tried for a few more shots and then decided to let her sleep.
