A little late in getting this posting up, but wanted to share the six months photos before posting the seven month ones. Six months was a big month for Sydney. At her six-month check-up, she weighed 14 lbs 0.5 ounces (10-25th percentile) and was 26.5 inches long (75th percentile). She's still skinny and long, but as she continues to eat more and more solids, she's finally starting to fill out.

This month Sydney starting sitting on her own. It is so nice to put her down for a few minutes when I need my hands free to do something else. She loves to sit and is quite good at it. Still not a huge fan of tummy time and, now that she's gotten more into rolling, she doesn't last but a few seconds before she's on her back.
Sydney is continuing to expand her palate for food. So far she has tried pears, apples, squash, sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, asparagus and prunes. Her favorites are by far pears, apples and sweet potatoes. Peas and carrots make her gag, so I have to sneak them in with fruit or sweet potatoes. All 100% handmade by mommy. It's definitely a time commitment, but it's worth it and I love doing it.
Sydney had her first official play date this month. Just three babies, one little boy 3 months older and one 2 weeks younger, but it was some nice socialization for the little ones and even nicer for us adults!
