Saturday's spring training game was against the Red Soxs. We've decided that the Orioles weak link so far is their pitching, but they played a good game. However, the Red Sox sent their second string players. They must reserve their starters for at home. The game was extremely hot so we had to head out an inning early b/c we couldn't take any more of the sun. But it worked out well b/c the game was sold out so the traffic was unbelievable getting there.
It was so hot today that Jeff took a quick dip in the ocean when we got back. The water is way too cold for me so I hung out on the beach and took pictures. The cruise ships port near us and there is a small opening in the beach not too far down where they enter the ocean. It was crazy how close the one ship we saw was to where we are staying. There was also a Cosmopolitan (the magazine) bikini party going on at the hotel next to ours. We thought about joining, but figured I'm not exactly the "bikini look" they are going for.
Last night we went to dinner at DeVito's. We had a great private table outside, right at the edge of the sidewalk so we could watch all the South Beach action. Sometimes we can't tell if the older men with lots of money here are carting around call girls (they fit the bill) or they are just regular women looking for men with lots of cash and a $100k+ car. Either way, it's a sight.
Here are a few pictures from today.

Wow - that boat is close! The beach is crowded, too.
Looks like you had a nice weekend away.
