Sydney celebrated her first Halloween and, with the limited selection of costumes they make for infants under six months, she was a pea pod. But quite a cute little pea pod I must say.
A couple of weeks ago, we took a trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin for daddy to carve. Then Saturday morning we made our usual Caribou/Bruegger's run and then carved our first pumpkin. Jeff did a great job and wasn't the least bit modest of his work of art.
That evening, we walked down to a neighborhood get together to see all the kids dressed up. Sydney did great and even took a nap in daddy's arms before heading back home to pass out candy. Aside from the torrential downpour, we got a fair amount of trick-or-treaters and, thankfully, not too much leftover candy to temp me into eating.
