17 and 18 Months

It's hard to believe Sydney is 19 months old and turning into such a little girl. At her 18-month check-up she weighted 19 1/2 lbs and was 31.5 inches long. Still a little petite thing, but she's active, active, active so burns those calories about as fast as she takes them in.

Our weekend activities seem to include a trip to Discovery Place Kids, the park (if it's nice enough) or Monkey Joes. Sydney is so social and loves playing with other kids. We are finishing up the process to enroll her in part-time preschool beginning in the Fall. She'll go three days/week for 3 1/2 hours a day. The school is only 1/2 mile from our house, which is great as our nanny will have to option of walking her and her baby sister to and/or from when the weather in nice.
